This spoon ring is from the popular Les Cinq Fleurs pattern made by Reed and Barton in 1900. Because this pattern is so collectible it's also hard to find for sale and fetches a high price. Each piece of the pattern features a different flower. This teaspoon size appears to be a poppy. Apparently there are 5 of them as Cinq means 5 in French. This Les Cinq Fleurs spoon ring has nearly 3 dimesional flowers popping off it in exquisite crisp detail.
The inside of the ring says Sterling and has the patent date, May 23 1900 written on it.
This ring is in size 8 for its photo shoot, I can make it from size 6-10. It weighs 15.9 grams of solid sterling silver.
This spoon ring was handmade in the back room of my cozy little 1908 home by me. Though it's often cramped, I do my best work with professional tools and a south facing window to let in the sunshine.
