This sterling silver Gorham pattern is called Buttercup and is from 1899. I made this ring from a demitasse spoon and it's about the size of a traditional Avon style spoon ring a lot of people are most familiar with. This very popular pattern is in the Greco-Roman Style and includes flowers scrolls an leaves. In the inside of the spoon ring you can see the pat.1900 mark which they used in the early days of production of this beautiful sterling pattern as well as the Sterling stamp.
The demitasse spoon was in great shape and the detail on the handle is in excellent condition! This ring weighs 6.2 grams of solid Sterling Silver.
This ring is a U.S. And Canada Standard Size 6. I can adjust it from size 3-8. This ring is also slightly adjustable at home with a strong hand.
