This beauty is an Alvin Sterling pattern form 1940. A Chateau is a castle so this pattern could also be known as castle rose. Alvin is probably my favorite sterling flatware maker. The intricate detail and unique styles make Alvin's patterns unique in Flatware. Chateau rose has 5 roses on it, a little bit of rococo style frill, and a raised center. The inside of the ring has a B stamp, and says Alvin Sterling pat. 1940. It also has the patterns name Chateau Rose Written in spiffy Cursive on the inside so you can laugh about all that time you spent in 3rd grade learning to write and read all those silly scribbles your parents used only for Christmas lists.
This Chateau Rose Spoon Ring ring is .72 inches at it's widest and .23 inches at it's thinnest. the widest part of the entire ring is .96 inches. It weighs 14.2 grams of Solid Sterling silver, about the same weight as 2 U.S. quarters and a penny.
This Ring is currently in size 8. I can readjust it anywhere from size 5-12 upon request. This Dank Artistry ring is sturdy and work hardened so it's not easily adjustable by hand unless you happen to be closely related to Superman.
