This ring has holes in the pattern and is referred to as pierced. Lovely lady is a 1937 pattern by Holmes and Edwards and has a beautiful floral border that runs around the band of the spoon ring. When I use this special pattern I polish the part of the band I cut because you can see it through the "windows" of the ring. I just got a set of this on my last silverware hunting trip. These I found in an antique mall on I-80.
This spoon ring was handmade using tools from the jewelry trade to insure a proper fit and professional appearance. Even though it look like I just have a bunch of fun here I take great care in forming my rings and bracelets into jewelry suitable for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
