This thin sized spoon ring was made from a Demitasse spoon in the highly collectible Arbutus pattern from 1908. Arbutus is the middle child between Chester from 1900 and Orange blossom from 1910. All 3 similar Art Nouveau patterns were made by Rogers brothers, Arbutus and Chester did not receive the fame and promotion that Orange Blossom did, perhaps because Orange Blossom was sold as a promotional item by Sunkist. Arbutus was made for only one year, 1908.
This ring was made form a small Demitasse spoon making for a slender wrapped ring comparable to the familiar Avon "spoon rings" ever so popular in the 70's.
