I made this Silverware Bell Necklace from the Tupperware Rose Pattern from 1955. Tupperware Rose has an incredibly long stemmed rose on it which goes all the way down the handle. This bell is taken from just the tip of the knife. This bell is 1.26 inches long, .78 inches wide, and .44 inches thick.
The finding for the bail is wrapped around itself inside and outside the bell with solid sterling silver wire so that it's super sturdy. The clapper for the bell is the end of a fork tine suspended from chain. I have smooth finished the edges at the bottom of the bell with a very tiny grinding wheel to insure that there are no sharp edges and that this piece is a good representation of quality workmanship.
Comes with a 20 inch chain necklace.
This Bell Necklace was handmade using tools from the jewelry trade to insure a proper fit and professional appearance. Even though it may seem like I just have a lot of fun here, I take great care in forming my rings and bracelets into jewelry suitable for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
