This beauty is part of Wallace's approach to make sterling silver flatware 3 dimensional. They did a wonderful job! It's silverware like this, Sir Christopher, and Stradivarius that gave Wallace the competitive edge. This is one of my favorite patterns. It's intricacy and depth are truly unmatched. I made this wrapped spoon ring from a Grand Baroque Demitasse spoon. It's the same size as the Avon "spoon rings" that were all the craze in the 70's.
The inside of this ring is comfortably smooth and has the sterling and Wallace stamp. The widest part of the whole ring is .9 inches. This ring weighs 8 grams of solid sterling silver.
I can make this ring in sizes 4 - 8.5. In the photo it's in size 7.
