White Orchid is simple and elegant. It's a Oneida Community pattern from 1953 and carries it's name on the inside just like all Oneida patterns from 1948- 1955. It seems that most of the silverware I get from this time period has been stored away and never used. I'm not sure if it's a result of marketing the silverware sets as valuable heirlooms or if it was just super cool to have that unused set of silverware stashed away for some rainy day silver polishing party.
I'm glad I can get these out of their dank musty boxes and get them into the light of day! This collectible pattern may have not made people the fortunes they had hoped for but it's still a classic Beauty!
This silver spoon ring is from a small rare demitasse spoon and is only .55 inches at it's widest.
