Gorham's sterling Chantilly pattern is in the top 10 most popular silverware patterns of all time. This pattern was created by William Christmas Codman in 1895. In an instant it became one of the most popular pieces ever created.
Chantilly's graceful border design is inspired by “Rococo” style created during the 18th century in France.
The “Rococo” style surfaced during the time of King Louis XV and is reminiscent of the curves of shells and stones.
This solid Sterling spoon ring is made from a Demitasse spoon. It weighs 6.1 grams and is only .68 inches at it's widest. Those of you who remember the Avon "spoon Rings" of the 70's would find this ring of comparable size.
This ring is handmade by me, Dan. If this isn't your size, it can be immediately resized by me from size 5 - 9. Small adjustments to this ring may be made by hand.
