This massive spoon ring is in Towle's Old Colonial pattern from 1895. This pattern was so popular it was made all the way till 2009 and was retired perhaps because silver prices soared.
This Old Colonial Spoon ring features a beaded border and a Corinthian style top. The inside has two tiny flowers though there are none on the face.
The widest part of the ring is .76 inches and the thinnest is .15 inches. The widest part of the entire ring is 1 inch. The inisde of the ring says sterling, Pat. 1895, 925/1000 and just barely visible, the Towle Makers mark of the T with the lion in it.
This ring is heavy and weighs 16.3 grams of solid sterling silver. It's currently in size 7 and I can make it in just about any size if you'd like. This ring is sturdy, from a full size teaspoon and can't be bent easily without tools.
