This solid sterling silver spoon ring is from the popular Les Cinq Fleurs pattern made by Reed and Barton in 1900. Because this pattern is so collectible it's also hard to find for sale and fetches a high price. Each piece of the pattern features a different flower. This 5 )' Clock size is, of course, the Fleur de Lis. There are 5 differnt flowers showcased on the silverware; The fleur de lis, wild rose, Poppy, Orchid, and the peony. Cinq means 5 in French. This Les Cinq Fleurs spoon ring has nearly 3 dimesional flowers popping off it in exquisite crisp detail.
The inside of the ring says Sterling and has the patent date, May 23 1900 written on it.
This ring is in size 8 for its photo shoot, I can make it from size 6-10. It weighs 12.3 grams of solid sterling silver.
This spoon ring was handmade in the second story of my 1908 Colonial home.
