Altair is a beautiful Watson Mechanics pattern from 1904. This Art Nouveau design features an organic shaped shield and a nearly flowerless scrolled design. I made this ring from a 5 O'clock teaspoon.
The inside of this ring says sterling and has the Watson mechanics mark of the little flag with an H in it. This spoon ring weighs 8 grams of solid sterling silver.
Altair is currently in size 8. I can adjust it anywhere from 5-10. Small adjustments may be able to be made by hand with this particular ring. The widest part of the entire wrapped spoon ring is 1 inch.
This Altair spoon ring was handmade using tools from the jewelry trade to insure a proper fit and professional appearance. Even though it looks like I just have a lot of fun here, I take great care in forming my rings and bracelets into jewelry suitable for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
